With nearly the speed of our longer designs, the 17' Sundowner can also take you on backcountry, overnight trips. It is a tandem with true tripping capability. The 17' Sundowner is also very enjoyable to paddle lightly loaded, and it travels efficiently in almost any conditions.

We build the 17' Sundowner exclusively in Royalex. With its sleek bow, straight keel-line, and shallow-arch hull, this is an exceptionally fast Royalex boat. It also delivers excellent glide and the best tracking of any Royalex canoe.
