A saying we have been hearing on the internet for many years now as advice for new paddlers, never buy a kayak before you have tried it.  We have had demo days in the past, but they never worked out as we would have liked.  Our demo days were in conflict with most of our customers schedules that wanted to attend, so they would have to wait months for the next demo day.   Our most popular boats would often be on the water for the whole event with many customers not getting to paddle those models and we often heard complaints of the models not being used on the water where they will be paddling on conditions they will not be on.  And of course going out on the water for 10 minutes or so is hardly enough time to really get the feel of how a boat paddles.  So we came up with something better, rent the boat model you think you like, try it out on the water for however long it takes.  Want to try out a different model, then do the same.  We will apply the rental toward purchase.  We have been putting more and more of our models into this program.

We will apply 100% of your one day rental toward purchase of any kayak.  If you end up not buying a kayak from us, we will apply 50% of the rental toward any gear.  Most of our most popular kayaks we have available for this program.
